Community Marketing & Brand Development
The marketing and promotion of a city, state or nation comes with unique challenges and opportunities. Irene will provide an insider’s look at place branding efforts in Columbus Region, including how the current brand was developed and grew to become a model for other cities around the country.
Irene serves as Vice President, Brand Marketing and Communications for the Columbus Partnership. In her role, she leads initiatives across various sectors of the community to meet Columbus Region marketing objectives, and drives efforts to build the Columbus brand and global identity. She also aligns marketing activity among the Columbus Partnership and its teams at Columbus 2020 and Smart Columbus.
To celebrate the giving season, we will be collecting G.R.I.N donations for their family holiday boxes at this event. G.R.I.N. is specifically looking for non-perishable items to create holiday sweet treats (e.g. cake mixes, frosting, cookie toppings).
