It’s All About Local
His first dream was to become the next Heisman Trophy winner from Notre Dame. While a career with the NFL didn’t work out, Marc Hawk started out as an accountant and worked as a banker for 10 years before joining his brother at an internet service company located in Mt. Vernon.
But Marc, CEO of RevLocal, found his true passion was as an entrepreneur. In 2010, Marc and his brother Michael formed the digital marketing company RevLocal with its headquarters in Granville. In just a few short years, RevLocal has grown to more than 200 employees and dozens of locations through the country, including Nashville, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
RevLocal helps companies ensure that potential customers will spot their business in the top echelons of all internet search engines. In an article published in CEO Magazine, Marc was quoted as saying, “We intentionally focus on building a culture of constant innovation, from the skills we need, those we hire, to the strategies we employ, in every industry that we serve.”
Additionally, Marc realizes the importance of serving his community. He is a founding board member and current Board President of St. Gabriel Radio and the local chapter of Legatus, and a member of Rotary and the Board for the Community Foundation of Knox County.
This is definitely a meeting you won’t want to miss!
